Concerning the FairTax
Since the ratification of the 16th Amendment, I suppose there is no more frequent subject of discussion in Congress, in pubs, or around the American kitchen table as that of taxation. Who should pay; how much should be paid; when should the tax be paid; should the rates be the same for all or should it be progressive; should the poor pay none and the wealthy pay it all and on it goes for these past 97 years. I thought the debate was very good. FYI, I would like to pass on to you that Iraq was the right move. We did find WMD’s. The last yr. of GW Bush the U.S. ship 200,000lbs of “yellow cake” to Canada for disposale. I liked what I heard from you. I think 4 of the others lost a lot of point tonight.
